Mettenheim Dueling Swords are primarily utilized by the footmen of Mettenheim. A very good greatsword in its own right, the Dueling Sword has decent damage overall, and has better range than most Two-Handed Weapons in the game. In terms of blades, the Mettenheim sword's range is only exceeded by the Pendor Great Sword, Ravenstern Great Sword, Zweihander, and Rune Two-Handed Swords. The Mettenheim blade also has a lower strength requirement than all of those weapons, and in the case of the Zweihander, Pendor and Ravenstern swords, the Mettenheim blade also has a better speed rating and can be used from horseback if needed.
