Siege Crossbows are among the best crossbows that are available in Pendor, with only the Mettenheim Arbalest being more powerful. Slow-firing, but accurate and possessing excellent damage, units that utilize the Siege Crossbow can easily down even the heaviest enemies in a single hit. A firing line of siege crossbows can stop any charge dead in its tracks.
The Empire, Barclay, and a couple mercenaries are all noted for their crossbow use in Pendor, and the Order of the Ebony Gauntlet's knights are particularly devastating with this weapon.
One siege crossbow can be obtained by the player if he captures Senderfall and checks it's City Chest.
