The most accurate and experienced Noldor Warriors are promoted and are given the right to don the Noldor Rune Armor. Armed with the standard bow and arrows, they also complement this equipment with the Noldor Runesword or Noldor Longsword and the Noldor Infantry Shield. Similar to the less experienced Noldor Warriors, their arrows will punch through flesh, wood and steel with ease. Their skill with the sword and shield is good, and their enchanted weapons will give them an edge over their foes. As always, the small number of arrows in their quivers would usually run dry pretty quickly but their combat skills can ensure these brave elves live to see another battle.

They can be seen in noldor patrols and noldor armies. They are specially numerous in Ithilrandir's army (120-300).

10 of these can be recruited by Quigfen in Laria in exchange of a Qualis Gem. These numbers can be improved by also adding Noldor Trade Goods.

12 of these can be recruited by Arandur in Elacrai in exchange of a Qualis Gem. These numbers can be improved by also adding Noldor Trade Goods.

They can extremely rarely be recruited from Red Brotherhood reps in taverns for 1000 gold.

Lethaldiran can give the player a few of these troops via the right to rule quest, and also can give the player Noldor Hunters possibly each week from asking him for troops. Along with rescuing Hunters from certain Jatu or Red Brotherhood parties, Noldor Rangers are the best Noldor unit that the player can gain fairly regular access to that doesn't require a Qualis Gem.

Rarely, you will be given 6 of these and 2 Noldor Twilight Knights when gambing qualis gems.

This troop is upgraded from Noldor Warrior for 200 d and upgrades no more.
