Ruby Rune Two Handed Sword with Scabbard
The Ruby Two-Handed Sword is an upgraded version of the Strange Rune Two-Handed Sword, you can upgrade it at the Hidden Mines of Al-Aziz for one qualis gem and giving some wine to the crazed hermit.
Like all ruby rune weapons, the 2h sword deals pierce damage on a swing attack which makes it very powerful versus all armored opponents. More importantly, unlike just about every other greatsword in Pendor, this one can be wielded from horseback. When considering between Ruby and other Rune Two-Handed Swords, Ruby offers the best chance to one-shot-kill just about any enemy you come across. If you're looking for speed, however, go with Sapphire, which is nearly twice as fast.
