In the deserts of the D'Shar, heavy platemail is difficult to wear, yet very necessary to deal with the hard-hitting units commanded by the neighboring Fierdsvain and Empire. Southern Plate is rarely seen on the battlefield, but is also among the most effective plate armors utilized by the desert factions. It's very heavy, but provides good protection at a lower strength requirement. The armor can sometimes be found in merchant shops.
